Associate Executive Director at Riverside County Medical Association (RCMA)

Location: Riverside, CA | Hybrid (1 remote day per week)

Full-time | $80,000–$90,000 annual salary + bonus

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Associate Executive Director overseeing Membership and Communication, you’ll lead efforts to grow, retain, and energize our 3,000-member base of physicians, residents, and medical students. You’ll manage a small but mighty team, shape the way we engage with members, and ensure our communication strategies are both thoughtful and impactful.

You’ll:

• Lead strategic membership growth and engagement initiatives.
• Own our CRM—managing data, driving insights, and optimizing processes.
• Create content and campaigns across newsletters, emails, web, and social platforms.
• Oversee member onboarding, renewals, and satisfaction efforts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders like hospitals, medical groups, and schools.
• Manage events and networking opportunities to connect our community.
• Guide and support your team while tracking department goals and budgets.

You're Probably a Match If You Have:

• 5+ years of leadership experience in membership, communications, or marketing—ideally within a medical or professional association.
• A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
• A track record of growing membership programs and working hands-on with CRMs (Salesforce is a plus).
• Exceptional writing, relationship-building, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and website content management systems is preferred.
• A willingness to attend occasional evening/weekend events and travel locally.
