**The Boeing Company** is seeking **Entry-Level Quality Engineers** who are passionate about problem solving, engaging with the production system and doing complex data analysis. Quality Engineers support existing production through process improvement techniques involving defect reduction, verification system design and improvements, and ensures compliance to requirements. Our quality engineers get involved in complex engineering and production challenges and have a critical role in the continuous improvement of our quality management system, products and production system.

Quality Engineers (QE) work to develop, maintain and assess the Boeing Quality Management System (QMS) requirements for the production processes and design. QEs are responsible for verifying our value stream is capable of meeting the engineering requirements and our processes produce quality products. As a QE, you will work closely with other engineering functions, manufacturing and support functions to ensure compliance to our regulators and contractual requirements, while continually improving our products and processes. The Statement of Work includes being a problem-solving leader through analyzing defect data, performing analysis to support production changes, identifying and implementing improvements to quality and production processes and product designs, and leading cross-functional teams on Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and defect reduction efforts.

**Position Responsibilities**

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

+ Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements

+ Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities

+ Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs

+ Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness

+ Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions

+ Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved

+ Works under general supervision

**The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.**

**Basic Qualifications** **(Required Skills / Experience):**

+ Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or any technical field

+ Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions

**Preferred Qualifications** **(Desired Skills / Experience):**

+ Experience with regulatory requirements

+ experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment

+ experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ experience root cause analysis and corrective action.

+ Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment

**Typical Education & Experience** **:**

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $54,000 - $139,000
