Insight Global is looking to bring on a Clearable Cable Technician to join the team sitting out of Goldsboro, NC in support of a Federal contract. The technician will be responsible for the install, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading of physical and electronic security systems. The candidate will be required to do the following work: pulling cables, installing panels, bending piping/conduit, performing system wiring of both low and high voltage power, and performing connection of both copper and fiber optics. Candidate may assist in programming/configuring security software applications. This is a 6 week contract with potential extensions, and benefits are included.
Required Skill:
-Four (4) years of practical experience, to include: IESS installation, electronics repair, maintenance, testing, and turnover.
-Candidate must have previous experience with electronic and physical security systems
-Candidate must have experience in system installations, cable dressing, making/repairing connectors, rigid and EMT conduit installation including conduit bending, and fiber optics cable installation and termination.
-MUST BE ABLE TO PASS GOVT BACKGROUND CHECK.
