Summary:
The Construction Project Management Staff positions are all 100% on site positions for field construction in live data centers. Position requires ability to walk, stand, sit, climb and inspect work products. Job includes exposure to the environment which could include heat, cold, rain, sun, noise and other exposures. Employees must be physically fit for duty; which may include but are not limited to standing/walking for long periods of time, use of ladders or stairs, lifting up to 40lbs, full range of motion tasks and working on uneven surfaces. Employees must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for the work tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
The Construction Manager (CM) will provide comprehensive management and oversight at every stage of the construction project, from pre-construction to closeout.
Pre-Construction Services
" Review of architectural plans and specifications
" Development of Bill of Materials (as needed)
" Development/Coordination of a detailed project schedule
" Review Method Statement of Work (MSOW)
" Review Quality Control Plans
" Review Safety Plans
" Submission of Datacenter Access Requests (DCATs)
Construction Phase Services
" On-site oversight and coordination of all construction activities
" Quality control to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
" Regular progress reporting to stakeholders
Post-Construction Services
" Coordination of project closeout and handover
" Management of warranty period services
Description of Deliverables and Duties.
All Deliverables will be treated as Microsoft Confidential Information unless otherwise designated by Microsoft.
The CM will complete the following duties and provide the following deliverables in support of those duties:
a. Review and approve detailed project schedule
b. Provide Detailed Planning and Prepare Comments for Project Execution
c. Manage Day to Day activities On Site
d. Manage in the Field Coordination between GC and MS Management
e. Prepare Daily and Weekly progress reports
f. Perform and Document QAQC Inspections as Owner Hold Points
g. Prepare, Review and Finalize final project closeout report
h. Plan for and Present Daily Task List for assigned projects.
i. Develop and Present GC Performance Indicators for review.

Education/Experience:
" High School Diploma
" 10+ years experience required.
Years of experience required 10 years of experience with construction senior safety roles and with data center construction experience.
Degrees or certifications required - No
Disqualifiers Not having enough construction & construction safety experience
Best vs. average 10+ years of data construction experience. Construction data center experience. Oil & gas construction anything with big large scale project construction.
