Project Manager -Construction
Job Summary: Project Manager position at Schumacher Dugan Construction, a well-established construction company in Greater Cincinnati.
Position requires that the project manager is capable of successfully delivering projects from preliminary estimates through project completion.
Necessary qualifications include:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar related degree.
Minimum of 2 years relevant commercial construction experience preferred.
Good work ethics, high integrity, and self-driven are a must.
Effective communication skills working with clients, architects, engineers, co-workers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
Leadership and coordination of project subcontractors.
Review and negotiation of contracts.
Team-player mentality.
Proficient with technology. Helpful if familiar with Procore and Microsoft Project.
Estimating for self-performed work.
Estimating for conceptual work.
Establish, track, and maintain project schedules.
Generate relevant reports as necessary.
Generate proposals.
Necessary skills to thoroughly evaluate subcontractor bids and generate subcontracts.
Ensure that every project is successful from all aspects (Customer expectations, quality, schedule, safety, and profitability).
Capable of working in a diverse range of projects. Examples include: Industrial, Medical, Commercial, Educational, Retail, and Design-Build Projects.
