Job Title: Senior Director / Managing Director, Fund Finance & Strategic Equity Derivatives

Location: New York City, NY

Job Summary: My client, seeking a highly experienced Senior Director / Managing Director to join our team in New York City. The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring, executing, and originating fund finance and NAV lending transactions, as well as strategic equity derivatives for hedging and monetization, focusing on the public markets side.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fund Finance & NAV Lending:

  • Originate, structure, and execute fund finance and NAV lending transactions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with public market clients, including private equity funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, and other institutional investors.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessment for potential transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless transaction execution.
  • Monitor and manage existing transactions and portfolios.

• Strategic Equity Derivatives:

  • Design and implement strategic equity derivatives solutions for hedging and monetization, including collars, margin loans, and other structured products.
  • Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes affecting equity derivatives.
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams.

• Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional client service and support.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional financial products and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in fund finance, NAV lending, and/or equity derivatives
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a deep understanding of financial markets and instruments.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
