Job Description

Position Summary

As the Director of Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of our projects. Responsible for overseeing operational aspects nationwide, you will manage our skilled team, optimize processes, and embody our core values.

 

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Ensure on-time, within scope, and budget project delivery.
  • Develop a detailed project plan, monitor progress, and conduct regular stakeholder meetings.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution

Operational Excellence

  • Enhance operational systems, processes, and policies in alignment with the company's vision.
  • Improve management reporting, information flow, business processes, and organizational planning.
  • Manage and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of support services through functional improvements and coordination.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of project managers and staff for optimal performance.
  • Ensure staffing requirements are met, and employees are trained and knowledgeable about safety and operational procedures.

Safety and Compliance

  • Uphold and promote the company's commitment to safety, ensuring project compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the company safety director to lead continuous quality improvement processes.

Client Relations

  • Maintain continuous communication, keeping clients well-informed of project progress.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, promptly addressing and rectifying any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Director of Operations, Senior Project Manager, or similar role in the commercial construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, including excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
