Engineering Technician II
Location:Milpitas, CA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Conversion)
Pay Rate: $32/hr.
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8-hour days (Potential for Overtime)
On behalf of our client a computer technology company, we are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician II to join their team in Milpitas, CA. In this role, you will be involved in the development, testing, and debugging of next-generation high-capacity enterprise SSDs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced storage solutions in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Execute and maintain comprehensive system integration test plans and test cases.
· Implement and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
· Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration issues and ensure system compatibility.
· Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
· Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
· Mentor junior team members and share best practices in testing methodologies.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field and 3+ years of experience in system integration testing or a related field.
· Experience with SSD testing in an enterprise server environment.
· Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
· Solid background in system integration and interoperability testing.
· Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell scripting.
· Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems on servers.
