This is a full-time, in-office role based in Melville, Long Island — perfect for finance professionals who want to use their investigative skills to analyze major property losses, calculate business interruption damages , and fight for fair outcomes for our clients.

As a Forensic Accountant – Business Loss Specialist , you’ll lead the financial side of major insurance claims:

• Analyze net income variations, revenue impacts, extra expenses, and lost profits
• Quantify financial damages from fires, floods, storms, thefts, and construction delays
• Review financials, invoices, inventory records, and build clear loss summaries
• Collaborate with adjusters, legal counsel, engineers, and property owners
• Develop professional loss reports for negotiations and litigation if needed

This is not a back-office role — you will advise clients directly , manage financial strategy , and present findings that drive settlements.

• 5+ years in forensic accounting, audit, loss consulting, FP&A, or insurance-related finance
• CPA preferred — but not required if you have strong forensic experience
• Sharp investigator with strong communication skills
• Interested in applying finance skills to real-world problem-solving
• Organized, analytical, client-service driven
• Comfortable working full-time from our Melville office
