Role Overview:

As the Founding Engineer, you will take full ownership of the company’s technical foundation, driving the design, development, and deployment of the core product. Collaborating directly with the founding team, you’ll be instrumental in building a robust platform, solving complex technical challenges, and establishing a world-class engineering team.

Location Requirements:

This is a hybrid role based in New York City. Candidates must be located in NYC and available for in-person collaboration as needed.

What You’ll Work On:

Fashion design is deeply creative yet highly technical. Our users span from junior designers to creative directors and fashion design students. Building tools that meet their diverse needs is both challenging and rewarding.

• Developing core technology, driving innovation through design, build, and iteration of new product features.
• Implement intuitive, responsive, and performant user interfaces.
• Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Improving and iterating on the current tech stack to deploy suitable solutions. Tech stack - Angular, Prisma Graphql, NodeJS APIs, React Chrome extension.
• Design scalable solutions and ship features for a production-ready Canvas.
• Playing a critical role moving forward in recruiting new developers and assisting in building a world-class engineering team.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of proven experience as a full-stack engineer, ideally working on B2B SaaS.
• Strong experience with frontend technologies Angular, React.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with end-to-end software development, data structures & algorithms.
• Experience working with Canvas technologies.
• You are an entrepreneurial self-starter, comfortable diving into technical problems where you may have limited prior knowledge.
• You enjoy a fast pace of development, iteration & testing and are always looking to learn.
• New technologies and advancements in the ML space excite you, and you are always looking for opportunities to experiment with the latest and greatest.
• Winner mindset - you are acutely aware of the competition and want to use whatever resources at your disposal to win even when outgunned and outnumbered.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in developing and maintaining ML models and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Python and its ecosystem for machine learning, transformer models, data analysis, and other NN architectures.
• Experience working with DevOps (AWS, GCP).
