Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our HR team in various functions, including benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, training, event planning, and employee file management. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Associates with benefits inquiries and administration.
Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, conducting interviews, and ensuring background checks are completed.
Facilitate onboarding activities for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all HR practices.
Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for employees.
Help plan and coordinate events at the hotel, ensuring successful execution.
Assist in planning community events, including volunteer and service opportunities.
Maintain accurate employee file management and documentation.
Support HR investigations by gathering information and assisting in the process.
Skills And Qualifications
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Experience in event planning is a plus.
Previous experience in HR or a related field is preferred.

Requirements
At least 6 months of Human Resources or similar experience.
Hotel Or Hospitality Industry Experience Preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish Preferred.
