The HVAC System Test Engineer is responsible for the development, validation, and performance optimization of automotive HVAC systems . This role involves testing, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with performance objectives and regulatory standards .

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate automotive HVAC systems , ensuring they meet performance objectives .
• Coordinate development efforts with Powertrain, Aero/Thermal, and Engine Cooling teams .
• Maintain and oversee the DVP&R , monitor simulation results , and analyze drive-cell and static cell test data .
• Conduct data analysis , identify issues, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Lead and support vehicle road trips for HVAC system validation.
• Preferred experience with HVAC units, ducts, A/C compressors, A/C plumbing, and HVAC controls .
• Collaborate with packaging, service, manufacturing, and engineering teams to optimize system design.
• Ensure compliance with FMVSS and program management requirements to achieve high-quality vehicle sign-off .

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of engineering experience in HVAC system development and validation
