Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the laboratory services industry, is seeking a Lab Dishwasher to join their team. As a Lab Dishwasher, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting various sections. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Dishwasher

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Pay Range: $16 - $18 hr DOE

Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm or 7:00 - 3:30pm

CONTRACT WORK UNTIL JULY 31st

What's the Job?

• Wash lab ware by hand and in industrial-type dishwashers according to established procedures.
• Prepare and label containers for laboratory or sampling activities as needed.
• Pick up and deliver dirty or clean glassware for various laboratory areas as needed.
• Maintain inventory of necessary supplies for the lab ware cleaning area.
• Provide assistance to all lab sections as directed and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or G.E.D. including recent coursework in chemistry.
• Knowledge of elementary principles of chemistry and safe chemical handling procedures.
• Ability to reliably and safely handle fragile laboratory glassware.
• Ability to operate industrial-type dishwashers and standard business machines.
• No prior experience required; a willingness to learn is essential.
