Join the innovative AWS Amplify Console team as a Lead Senior Software Engineer. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced and passionate front-end engineer to enhance our platform designed for creating, deploying, and managing modern web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities: Architect and lead the design of front-end solutions for large-scale applications with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop intuitive user experiences for developers using AWS Amplify for full-stack applications. Mentor junior engineers, engage in code reviews, and promote a culture of innovation and technical excellence. Work alongside UX designers to implement and improve user interfaces that enhance developer interaction. Stay updated on industry trends to continually refine processes and improve front-end technologies. Engage throughout the feature lifecycle, from concept to deployment and performance monitoring in production. A Day in the Life: As a Lead Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and back-end engineers to build seamless and scalable front-end solutions. Your work will directly contribute to shaping features that improve the overall developer experience when using AWS services. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of professional software development experience. 5+ years of expertise in at least one software programming language. 5+ years leading design or architecture of existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years engaged in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, reviews, source control management, testing, and operations.
