Peak Veterinary Referral Center , a leading specialty and emergency hospital, is looking for a skilled
Per Diem Maintenance Manager to help us maintain our top-tier facility. As part of Ethos Veterinary Health, we take pride in delivering cutting-edge medical care for pets—and we need your expertise to keep our hospital in peak condition!
About the Role: This is an
as-needed position for an experienced maintenance professional skilled in
basic electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs . From troubleshooting equipment to assembling new furniture, your work will directly impact the daily operations of our hospital. Most tasks focus on
interior maintenance , ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our dedicated veterinary team, clients, and patients.
What You’ll Do - Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment and fixtures, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Assemble new equipment as required and ensure proper installation.
- Troubleshoot and repair broken equipment to minimize downtime.
- Address day-to-day maintenance needs, such as painting, fixing furniture, and replacing fixtures.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with facility standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and provide their own tools.
What We’re Looking For - Proven experience in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a hospital setting
- Flexible availability to work on an ad-hoc basis as needed

- Contracted Maintenance Manager – Work under your own business, submit invoices, and file a W9
- Per Diem Maintenance Manager – Be hired directly and receive bi-weekly pay based on hours worked
Compensation will be based on experience and expertise.
