Outside Sales Representative – Heavy Equipment Rentals

Location: Pinedale/Alpine, WY

A fast-growing, well-established general rental equipment company operating across the Northwest is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Pinedale/Alpine market.

About the Role:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth through the development and management of strong customer relationships. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated sales professional with the ability to understand customer needs, recommend solutions, and close deals effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a defined sales territory and maintaining regular customer contact
• Conducting jobsite visits and cold calls to generate new business
• Preparing professional quotes and presentations
• Maintaining accurate sales records and activity in a CRM system
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
• Collaborating with internal teams to meet sales targets and customer needs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Prior inside or outside sales experience (required)
• 2+ years of B2B experience in heavy equipment and/or construction sales (preferred)
• Experience in the rental industry (a plus)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability and discipline
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
