Description SAIC is hiring a
Senior Policy Analyst. This is a contingent position pending contract award expected in early September 2024.This position will provide DoD CIO Functional Community Support Services for the DoD Workforce Innovation Directorate (WID). The role requires knowledge of Human Capital management policies and strategies, studies, process and capabilities development, and support services.
The role is 100% onsite with work located at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. Job Responsibilities: - Support efforts to revise, develop, and publish DCWF content in coordination with the DoD CIO and stakeholders.
- Support development, revision, and publishing of evolving role-based terminal learning objectives.
- Research and provide analytical support to establish up-to-date cyberspace workforce qualification requirements.
- Ensure advanced cyber training and certification programs align with industry best practices and standards.
- Provide staff with advanced workforce and organizational development experience who can validate content and methodology.
- Provide specialized expertise to develop recommendations materials supporting implementation of a framework for the DoD Cyber Workforce.
- Maintain expertise in current and emerging cyber workforce development trends to support DoD interests by providing subject matter experts to international and interagency working groups.
- Support advancement of DoD Cyber functional initiatives such as education, training, and exchange programs to enhance workforce professional development.
- Conduct environmental scans to identify cyber assessments that are currently in development or deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to draft or revise supplemental guidance and communications products to assist in the development or revision of cyber workforce policies, procedures, and associated cyber workforce supplemental guidance documents.
- Cultivate university engagement via outreach initiatives to continue DoD and academic collaboration in cross-sector cyber and IT operations.
- Leverage established relationships with Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) and Senior Military Colleges (SMC) to host community of practice meetings, share program successes, and review lessons learned.
Qualifications Required Clearance: - Secret clearance required to start
- US citizenship required
Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree and six (6) years or more of experience; Masters and three (3) years or more of experience
- Human Capital Management for Policy and Strategy experience
- Process and capability development experience
- Support services experience
- Working knowledge of data analytics
- Industrial organization expertise
- DoD staff experience preferred
