This role is crucial to our operations as it involves processing and examining titles, ensuring that the titles are legitimate, and that the property is free from any liens or encumbrances. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and possess a deep understanding of real estate transactions, deeds, settlements, and real estate finance. Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Review and process title orders, ensuring all required information is obtained and accurate.
2. Coordinate with various parties such as real estate agents, lenders, mortgage officers, and clients to gather necessary information and documents.
3. Conduct a thorough examination of property titles to confirm ownership and identify any defects.
4. Prepare and review title commitments and exception reports, highlighting any issues that may affect the transaction.
5. Coordinate the preparation of settlement statements and facilitate the closing process.
6. Ensure all financial transactions, including loan funds and closing costs, are accurately calculated and recorded.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
8. Problem-solve any issues that arise during the title process, providing excellent customer service and solutions to all parties involved.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Title Processor or in a similar role within the mortgage or real estate industry.
2. Proven experience with deeds, real estate transactions, settlements, and real estate finance.
3. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Proficiency in using industry-related software and technology.
7. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal real estate regulations.
8. A high degree of professionalism and a customer-focused attitude.
9. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
