Job Description
The Executive Director will be responsible for all aspects of the housing authority's day to day operations. Serves as the Secretary/Treasurer to the Board of Commissioners. Be responsible for budgeting, annual plans, community relations, interaction with local government, county government and state government. Departments within the agency consists of maintenance, public housing and accounting. The authority has an existing portfolio of 330 public housing units. Manages a 10 unit Partnership Housing project for the City. The sucessful candidate must have at least 5 years experience in federal housing programs. Must be knowledgeable of HUD procedures and public housing programs. Sucessful candidate must also have or be able to secure a Public Housing Managers (PHM) certification within 1 year of employment.
