The portfolio ranges from charming brownstones, to renovated pre-war doorman buildings, to newly constructed high-rises with extensive building amenities. The neighborhoods span from West and Greenwich Village to Chelsea, Midtown West to Morningside Heights, and Midtown East to Carnegie Hill and Downtown Brooklyn.
Purpose & Scope
The New Development Leasing Representative will play an important role in the lease up of a newly constructed luxury apartment tower in Brooklyn. This position reports directly to the site's Leasing Manager.
Responsibilities
Leasing
Greet and register prospects, determine needs and preferences, professionally present community and apartments
Assist lease applicants throughout application and approval process
Coordinate move-in dates with building management
Handle, track and follow up on all email and phone inquiries
Administrative Manage calendar of appointments
Process applications and prepare leases for signing
Tracking web page functions including photo and floor plan display, unit descriptions and property descriptions
Ensure proper lease file organization and assist in preparing daily and weekly reports
Ensure that the office, models and market-ready vacant apartments are in showing condition
Conduct market surveys, comprehensive analysis, community research and outreach
Enter all traffic, telephone calls and other daily activity into lead management system
Special reports and projects as assigned
Desired Skills & Experience Willing to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
Solution-oriented attitude
Minimum one year of multi-family leasing experience
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work loads
Strong attention to detail and well organized in a fast-paced environment
Updated understanding of rent stabilization rules and regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent customer service and follow-up
Trained in Fair Housing regulations
Articulate in written and verbal communication
Flexible schedule; weekends required.
Solid and consistent work history with excellent references
Team oriented, self-motivated and positive
Experience in hospitality and/or mixed-income buildings, a major plus
